Taking pride in our community
The City of Sherburn knows and understands winters can be hard at times in Minnesota. However, our community is something we all share and take pride in. Keeping our yards, lots, and neighborhood clean helps make our city a place we’re proud to call home—today and for the generations growing up here.
The city kindly asks all residents to take a moment to look over their property over the next month and remove any debris, unused vehicles, or items that may be creating clutter. Small efforts from each of us go a long way toward maintaining a safe, welcoming, and attractive community for everyone.
We appreciate the cooperation and pride our residents show in caring for their properties. If cleanup is not completed, the city may need to enforce local ordinances, which can include ticketing, towing (including RV’s that are not maintaining compliance) or removal of items with associated costs assessed to the lot owner’s property taxes. If this is not done, we will enforce these ordinances. This is an opportunity to take care of these matters now.
Thank you for doing your part to keep our community a place we can all be proud of and call our home—now and for the future. Thank you for your attention on this matter.
