The Sherburn Cemetery grounds are open for burial of those of any faith, residents of Sherburn, and non-Sherburn residents.

The Sherburn Cemetery Association was formed on October 18, 1880, and its first president was M. Jenkins. The cemetery continues to be run by the Sherburn Cemetery Association.

The Sherburn Library is a branch of the Martin County Library System and is open Monday through Friday from 1:30 to 5:30 pm. The Sherburn Library has a variety of materials available for check-out, including books and DVDs. E-books, digital magazine and music downloads are available with your library card. The Sherburn Library also has computers available for public use during open hours. There are also various options for children’s activities and games that can be used while at the library.
