Water

The Water Treatment Plant is a Class C Facility, and it provides clean drinking water to the community. The water is pumped from two underground wells, drilled at 283 and 275 feet deep, that draw water from the Quaternary Buried Artesian aquifer.  Both wells have a pumping capacity of 275 gallons per minute.  Each year a Consumer Confidence Report is published and available in June to provide information on the City water quality, source and additives.
