City of Sherburn Application for Employment

We're looking for an experienced Deputy Clerk to take on a position that will utilize research, writing, and editing skills. The Deputy Clerk is responsible for performing administrative duties including processing accounts payable and receivable and processing utility billing. The Deputy Clerk will also be responsible for preparation, distribution, and maintenance of official city records and assisting the Clerk and Council in compliance with State Statutes and Municipal Code as well as overseeing the daily operations of the City Hall office. The position of the Deputy Clerk requires a high level of accuracy, time management, and organizational skills. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a supportive team while creating a better community.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 36-40 per week
